Global Society Institute Spain

The Global Society Institute is an academic institution with the aim of promoting a global society for sustainable development. The institute brings together people and institutions who want to actively shape the future of civil society, who initiate projects in the spirit of the United Nations Global Goals, and who conduct research and education on current global society issues. Projects are initiated in the fields of research, education, economy and culture. They contribute to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and make a recognisable contribution to shaping a sustainable and progressive global society.

The Global Society Institute Spain is located in the Floating House in the city of Tarifa. The Floating House Tarifa, a historic naval headquarters, now serves as a place for scientific and sustainable projects. It creates a powerful harmony between history, science, sustainability and the wild nature of the region.
