The Global Society Institute is an academic institution with the aim of promoting a global society for sustainable development. The institute brings together people and institutions who want to actively shape the future of civil society, who initiate projects in the spirit of the United Nations Global Goals, and who conduct research and education on current global society issues. Projects are initiated in the fields of research, education, economy and culture. They contribute to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and make a recognisable contribution to shaping a sustainable and progressive global society.
The Global Society Institute Germany is located in the Wälderhaus in the city of Hamburg. This building is made of wood and dedicated to education and awareness of environmental and sustainability issues. It uniquely combines science, nature and culture in an urban context.

The Invasive Species Forum is a strategic alliance dedicated to scientifically informed management and control of invasive species along the western Mediterranean coasts, ultimately facilitating habitat regression and recovery.

To address this, a comprehensive analysis has been conducted on the strategies employed by international state and non-state actors to influence populations using Big Data profiling and artificial intelligence.
Recognizing the crucial role of awareness and education in combating technologically supported manipulative approaches, a series of awareness-raising initiatives have been developed. These are targeted at high-level government agencies, students, and other institutions, with the aim of fostering a better understanding of the manipulative tactics supported by technology and enhancing individual abilities to protect against them.
By equipping individuals with the necessary knowledge and tools to shield their free will and decisions from AI-based manipulation, we are contributing to the development of a more informed, resilient society. Together, we can strive towards a future where technology serves as a tool for empowerment rather than manipulation.
